Yes, you read that correctly: I used "The Game," a book about learning how to pick up any woman for sex, to help people fall in love. Images reminiscent of a graphic superhero novel adorn the inside, along with warnings about the dreaded "c" word (commitment), that there's zero question about the villain of this nonfiction tome (Strauss), and pleas for Ingrid to stop reading ahead. Perhaps I got a bit ahead of myself there, explaining what the book offers as opposed to what it's about.
So when Strauss' newest book, "The Truth," came across my desk, I couldn't stop talking about it. The thing is, it's incredibly difficult to summarize such a personal, frank and raw book without sharing someone else's story. My partner had zero interest, having mastered The Game on his own and unaware of the culture that surrounds Strauss' previous work.
And then there's Firefly - ship like her, be with you 'til the day you die.

For me, the book was a painful, wholehearted, ego-shattering experience, one that I'm a better person for having experienced.gives you extra features and helps keep our servers running.I believe I was one of the few who read "The Game," all the way through, and saw the book as less of a how-to manual.
